IVF success rates must be reported to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in accordance with the "Fertility Clinic Success Rate and Certification Act of 1992". IVF success (delivery rates) for DFW Fertility Associates Dallas Tx fertility clinic for 2006 and onwards will be reported based on the physician Practice (individual or group practices) as is recommended by the Society for Assisted Reproduction (SART).
The IVF success rates for DFW Fertility Associates, Dallas, Texas prior to 2006 were reported to the CDC within the Presbyterian-Harris Methodist Hospital ARTS Program, which includes several other IVF programs. The latest IVF success rate data available for the Presbyterian-Harris ARTS Program reported by the CDC are for the year 2005.
Because delivery data is reported, 2006 statistics can’t be calculated until all patients from 2006 that conceived with IVF have delivered. Hence, the 2006 data becomes available sometime during the first quarter of 2008. IVF success rates are influenced by many factors making it difficult to compare individual clinics.
For example, if a clinic has a higher percentage of younger women undergoing IVF their IVF success rates will likely be higher. We treat a wide variety of women and all age groups are represented. Even so, our cumulative rates greatly exceed the national average.

Fertility clinics are required to report
their success rates to the Centers for Disease (CDC) Control
in accordance with the Fertility Clinic Success Rate Act.
At this time, DFW Fertility Associates data is reported
within the Presbyterian-Harris Methodist Hospital ARTS Program
which includes several other IVF programs. The success rates
published by the CDC are typically 2 years "old"
because delivery data is required. For example, data from
IVF conducted in 2003 must include delivery data that occurs
as late as September 2004 (from cycles conducted December
2003).
At the present time, all eight practices
using Presbyterian-Harris Hospital ART services report officially
to SART and the CDC as one program. The 2004 data has already
been submitted, and the 2005 data will probably be submitted
in the same format, i.e. grouping the data/success rates.
We hope to report the IVF and Donor Egg success rates statistics for DFW Fertility
Associates separately in the near future.
